Our Story

Once your special day is over, there are very few physical mementos from your wedding that you get to see every day. Your dress gets hung up in a closet, your decor gets passed on to the next couple, and the keepsakes and cards sit in a box for safekeeping. The flowers you held in your hands or pinned to your jacket while you recited your vows end up in the trash.

Couples put so much thought, care, and energy into planning their wedding florals–and not to mention money! It can be hard to see all of the planning and expenses go to waste after only a few hours of use.

At Save My Bouquet, we know how much meaning your wedding flowers hold. So, why not preserve them? Using high-quality, non-toxic resin, we can help you preserve the memories of your special day. Not only do we create functional, elegant pieces of decor that you can see every day, but beautiful works of art that match your style.

We are:

  • A women-owned small business

  • Proudly welcoming of all couples and event types

  • Canadian floral preservation artists

Why Choose Us?

We’ve all been there: the promise to yourself that as soon as your special day is over, you’ll dry your flowers. You may have even seen resin art and thought, “I can do that myself. It can’t be that hard.”

Trust us. It can.

The truth is, you only get one bouquet—and preserving your wedding flowers is not the time to experiment! While a DIY can be fun, resin gone wrong presents a real risk of destroying (or even burning!) your flowers. It’s definitely important to trust the pros. Choosing Save My Bouquet for your flower preservation means putting your trust in artists who have done the research, spent endless hours on trial and error, practiced their craft, and dedicated themselves to learning the right techniques.

If you’re anything like us, you’re sentimental. That’s why you’re here! Preserving your flowers means preserving your memories—like a snapshot in time. Creating a piece of art with your event flowers means reminiscing about the blooms that journeyed with you throughout your special day. It means sharing your memories with loved ones by being able to say, “I carried these with me when I walked down the aisle.”

As flower preservation artists, we understand the importance of getting it right—both from technical and sentimental perspectives! We’ve taken the time to do our research and perfect our craft so that we can create a piece that helps you remember your special day, every day.

Our Team

Ellen Simms

Ellen has always been a devoted lover of all things plants—after all, her first word was “flower”! After her wedding in 2023, she and MaryEllen wanted to preserve her beautiful bouquet flowers for years to come. Knowing that the shadow box wouldn’t preserve her flowers for long, they searched for a beautiful solution that would stand the test of time. That’s when Save My Bouquet was born! When not making flower preservation art, Ellen works as an occupational therapist and owns a freelance health content writing business. In her spare time, she loves gardening, watching period dramas, walking by the beach with her husband Ian, and filling up her photo library with pictures of her cats.

MaryEllen Law

MaryEllen likes to call herself a “jack of all trades,” having come from a 30+ year, multi-faceted career history including retail management, hotel management, insurance underwriting, medicine, and manufacturer sales and marketing. Despite putting her heart and soul into these diverse career interests, her true love has always been creating art, decor, and crafts in her spare time. This love has culminated in volunteer work, creating sets and props for the stage, and most recently, helping her daughter Ellen design her 1920s-inspired wedding. Her life-long dream to own a business doing something she absolutely loves—turning your gorgeous flowers into works of art—is the proverbial icing on the *wedding* cake!
