How It Works
Preserving your flowers is a practice that takes time, care, and attention to detail. Our step-by-step process makes it stress-free, start to finish.
Step 1: Reserve Your Date
Congratulations on choosing a date for your special day! To preserve your flowers, we need to process them as soon as possible after your event date. We only take a limited number of clients per week, so send us an email at contact@savemybouquet.ca to ask about the availability of your date. We recommend booking with us as soon as you know when your event will take place. Please note that we are only able to accept orders from within Canada.
Please remember that this is an inquiry, and your date is not yet confirmed at this stage.
Step 2: Complete Your Booking Form
If Save My Bouquet confirms your date is available, we will send you a booking package to fill out contact information, which collection you’d like to order, and special details. We will also send you a contract to sign and payment instructions. At this time, we are only processing payments using e-transfers.
Please note that your date is only considered reserved once we receive the non-refundable deposit (50% of your order total). One week before your wedding date, we will request the remaining balance. Don’t worry—we’ll send an email ahead of time to remind you!
Step 3: Send Us Your Flowers
Once your event is over, we recommend getting your flowers to us no later than 2 days after your event so they’re as fresh as possible for your floral preservation pieces. We offer local pickup at select locations for a $25 fee, but we also accept flowers shipped overnight to our studio via FedEx or UPS. Please note that shipping your bouquet to our studio will come with additional costs that are not covered by Save My Bouquet.
We will send you detailed instructions for how to safely ship your blooms to us! If you opt for local pickup, we’ll let you know how to keep them fresh until we arrive.
Step 4: Processing & Drying
We’ll spend the next several weeks processing and drying your flowers. Once your blooms are fully dry, we will create a unique design for your floral preservation pieces.
Each client will receive one complimentary design proof for each piece via email for approval before we get started on preserving. Please note that the final piece may not be an exact replica of the design proof, but we will aim to be as close as possible!
Step 5: Resin Preservation
Once we receive your approval, we’ll begin preserving your flowers in epoxy resin according to your order. While this process of pouring, curing, sanding, and polishing can take a while, we promise it’s worth the wait! Once we’re finished, your floral preservation pieces will be ready to send back to you.
Please note that the estimated time to complete an order is 6-10 months once your flowers are received.
Step 6: Receive Your Pieces
We will send you an email once we’ve shipped off your finished pieces, including the tracking number, so you can receive updates on their journey to you. Don’t worry—we will cover the cost of shipping to you! Your order will arrive with aftercare instructions so that you can keep your pieces in good shape for years to come.
Now, it’s time to decorate your home with your beautiful floral preservation pieces—so you can remember your special day, every day.

Once we receive your blooms, an order will take anywhere from 6 - 10 months to complete. Smaller orders may take less time, and larger orders may take more time. We promise that it’s worth the wait!
-
You may cancel your order at any time. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due 1 week prior to your event date. No refunds will be given after the remaining balance is paid.
Our refund policy reflects the cost of materials we must purchase in advance to create your order. Cancelling closer to your date also limits our availability to reserve with other clients.

Yes! As long as the flowers are not moldy or rotted, we can preserve flowers that you have dried already.
Please note that hang-dried flowers will not hold their shape or colour in the same way as ones dried with silica.
Additionally, please note that Save My Bouquet is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping.

As time passes, all resin develops a warm, slightly amber colour tone. While we use a high-quality, UV-resistant, non-toxic, VOC-free resin, this is a normal and unavoidable part of the resin life cycle. A great way to slow down this process is by keeping your resin out of direct sunlight and away from heat.

Our process involves drying your flowers in silica gel, which helps keep their shape and colour when compared to hang drying.
However, your flowers’ colour and shape will still change slightly during the drying process.
They may also show some spots where the petals were touched by you or your florist on your special day, or become slightly transparent when preserved in resin.
As we are working with organic materials, you may notice small air bubbles, tiny particles of floral debris, and/or pour lines in your preservation piece(s). These may happen during the resin-pouring part of the process. While we will do our best to remove them, some are unavoidable.

Some pieces are designed for specific functions like displaying rings, propping up books, and holding drinks. But really, they’re meant to be displayed in any way that helps you cherish your special day! Please note that:
Many of our pieces are heavy and should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
While our resin is non-toxic, we still do not recommend eating or serving food off our pieces.
We also do not recommend burning candles on our pieces.
